Terms of Use

1. Object

MEGATEK.AI is a universal, multilingual directory of the artificial intelligence ecosystem. It references software, tools, organizations, people, and other AI-related entities.

These Terms of Use govern the use of the platform, and in particular:

• Claiming existing profiles or creating new listings
• Publishing content (listings, articles, professional information)
• The identity and representation verification process

Using the platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use.

2. Data Reliability

MEGATEK.AI is a reference directory of the global AI ecosystem. The platform's value rests on the reliability of the information it contains.

Users commit to providing only accurate and verifiable information about themselves and the entities they are associated with.

MEGATEK.AI and its systems (human team, curators, automated systems) may at any time determine that data submitted by a user is inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent. In such cases, MEGATEK.AI reserves the right to correct, unpublish, or remove such data, and to suspend or ban the user's account.

Payment for listing information is in no way a guarantee against its removal. The user pays for the service of listing and promoting reliable information. If the information proves to be false, the payment is considered fully allocated to verification, correction, and/or removal costs. No refund will be issued.

3. Honor Declaration

By claiming a profile (Person, Organization, or product), the user certifies on their honor that they are:

• The natural person in question, for a Person-type profile
• A legally authorized representative of the organization in question, for an Organization-type profile
• The official owner or manager of the product in question, for a software or tool listing

This declaration is legally binding. Any false declaration engages the personal liability of the user.

Limit: one Person profile per account, for life. Each user account can only be associated with one Person listing. This association is permanent and cannot be transferred.

4. Impersonation

Impersonation — that is, claiming a profile that does not belong to you — is strictly prohibited.

If impersonation is detected, MEGATEK.AI reserves the right to apply the following measures, without prior notice:

• Permanent account ban
• Revocation of all claims associated with the account
• Archiving of all published content, without refund of any amounts paid

MEGATEK.AI reserves the right to request additional proof of identity at any time to confirm the legitimacy of a claim.

Fraudulent claims detected by the anti-fraud system (risk scoring) may be automatically placed on hold for manual review.

MEGATEK.AI retains evidence of confirmed fraud for a period of 24 months, for the purpose of potential legal proceedings.

Recovery by the rightful owner: if a profile has been claimed by an impersonator, the rightful owner may contact MEGATEK.AI to initiate a recovery procedure. This involves enhanced identity verification. If impersonation is confirmed, the above sanctions apply to the impersonator.

5. Removal and Refunds

MEGATEK.AI reserves the right to remove or archive any content that violates these Terms of Use, without prior notice.

Paid listings that are removed due to fraud, impersonation, or terms violation are not eligible for a refund.

Seeded content (public professional data indexed by MEGATEK.AI) can be removed upon request by the legitimate person or organization. To do so, use the "Report" feature available on each listing, or contact us at View email .

Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time, subject to applicable legal obligations.

In accordance with GDPR, personal data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request. Public contributions (listings created, corrections made) are retained as they serve the general interest of the directory.

In case of a ban, account data is retained for 12 months (for potential legal proceedings) and then deleted, with the exception of public contributions.

6. Verification Data

As part of the profile ownership verification process, users may be asked to publish a unique verification code (in the format MGTK-XXXXXXXX) on their platform: GitHub repository, website, DNS record, LinkedIn profile, etc.

MEGATEK.AI processes this verification data solely to confirm identity and the legitimacy of the claim. Verification proofs are stored securely and may be reviewed by moderators.

Automated checks (GitHub API, DNS, website) are performed in strict compliance with SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) protection rules.

By initiating a claim procedure, the user explicitly consents to this verification process.

7. Content and Limits

User-created content is subject to the following limits:

• Maximum 10 active drafts at a time per account
• Maximum 5 creations per day per account
• Maximum 20 creations per week per account

User-created content that has not been claimed is invisible in listings and search results. This measure prevents spam and ensures the reliability of the directory.

MEGATEK.AI may add editorial reviews to any listing. Listing owners cannot modify editorial content produced by the MEGATEK.AI team.

Regarding claim disputes: only one open dispute at a time per account. A 6-month cooldown period applies after a dispute is rejected before a new one can be submitted.

8. Intellectual Property

Factual information about entities (name, description, category, relations) constitutes factual data not subject to copyright. MEGATEK.AI may display, translate, and distribute it freely.

Enriched content added by listing owners (detailed descriptions, logos, visuals) remains the intellectual property of its author. By publishing it on the platform, the user grants MEGATEK.AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and translate it on the platform.

Automatically generated listings contain information compiled from public sources. MEGATEK.AI does not guarantee the accuracy of such content — the claim system allows legitimate owners to correct it.

9. Automatically Generated Content

MEGATEK.AI uses artificial intelligence systems to create initial content about public entities in the AI ecosystem (software, organizations, people, etc.). This content is compiled from public sources and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.

MEGATEK.AI does not guarantee the accuracy of automatically generated content. No professional, financial, legal, or medical decisions should be made solely based on information found on the platform.

The claim system allows legitimate owners to correct, complete, or contest information about them. If you notice any inaccuracy, use the "Report" feature available on each listing.

10. Organization Pricing

Organization listing pricing is based on the organization's size as declared by the user at registration. This declaration is made on the user's honor.

MEGATEK.AI reserves the right to request supporting documents (company registration, LinkedIn headcount, annual report, or any other relevant document) to verify the declared size.

Any false size declaration intended to benefit from a lower rate may result in a price adjustment, processing fees, and listing revocation without refund.

11. Affiliate Program

MEGATEK.AI offers an affiliate program allowing partners to earn a commission on generated sales. Affiliates are independent commercial partners: there is no employment relationship, contract of employment, or agency relationship with MEGATEK.AI.

Affiliates are responsible for their local tax obligations on commissions received. MEGATEK.AI reserves the right to modify program conditions or suspend it, with 30 days' notice.
